SERVER RULES
META: Zero Tolerance Policy on Meta. In-Game information or discussion of any kind on this discord is not allowed. Your discord nickname should not reflect your character name or give any indication of what tribe you are in. Please do not post screenshots.
VOICE: You should not be in our discord voice chat if you are in game, please use the in game voice to communicate and stay in character.
QUESTIONS: If you have a general question about this server or ark mechanics you can post it under the help channel.
If you are found to be using private discord messaging to pass along meta information to another tribe, you will be removed from this server.
ATTITUDE/GRIEFING: We all want to have fun here. If you are ruining the fun for others in an non-rp way you will be removed from the server. If you aren't having fun or can't find a way to have fun, please find another server. If you aren't interested in RP, please find another server.
CHEATING: If you are found cheating, you will be removed from the server immediately.
HATE SPEECH:Racism, Homophobia or hate speech of any kind will get you removed from the server immediately.

ADMIN: No admin involvement except for resetting the server for updates. ​Do not ask the admins for in-game help like getting dinos unstuck, reclaiming structures, or teleporting. Ask other tribes for help in character. The admins want to have fun to and play as regular characters.
KOS: PVP is allowed and encouraged on this server. Roleplay out each PVP interaction. If someone attacks you without saying anything, do your part to roleplay out the scenario and report the crime in game - for example, put out a bounty on this strange assassin or warn others in game about this attack.
As the attacker you are expected to stay in character while you are fighting or leave some sort of trail of clues in order for the other party to get involved with the RP.
Each PVP interaction as with all interactions must be in character and follow your characters motivations. PVP without RP reason is not allowed.
THIEVING: Stealing is allowed but you must leave a trail of clues behind to facilitate RP. Do not break more than is necessary to get to a piece of loot. Do not steal everything in a base.
KIDNAPPING: Kidnapping is allowed but you must engage the kidnapped player for the entirety of their stay with you. What makes a kidnapping rp unfun is RP'ing at inanimate prison walls for hours. Kidnappers must find a way to contact another party to pay ransom or agree to their terms. If the victim attempts to log off to try and skirt this rule, they may be kept for 24 hrs total. If the victim is willing to continue the RP past the 24 hrs mark that is up to them, please work it out between your 2 parties using steam or discord pms.

BASE/DINO WIPING: Is not allowed without proper war procedures. This means attacking a base with the intent to destroy or kill large amounts of tames or structures. Even if the intent is not to do so, but it occurs, you will be in violation of this rule. A 'large amount' is subjective but anything that is seen as above the minimal destruction needed to get in for thieving or kidnapping.
Base/Dino wiping is allowed under set conditions of war.
WAR: First, you must declare war on the tribe in game. After war is declared, you must have 3 battles. For each battle, attackers and defenders will bring a max of 10 dinos. Set a time for each battle, within reason. After the date and location is set, if the attackers or defenders can't make it, that is automatic forfeit. If attackers win 2/3 battles they can make demands of the defending tribe or march upon them with the intent to base wipe (You can use more than 10 to base wipe to get the job done at this stage). If the defenders win 2/3 battles then the attacking tribe must accept defeat. They cannot declare war on that tribe again for 1 week.
*If you have not won your war conditions, then you can not start attacking a base or mass killing tames. If a player meets you out in the world and attacks, the player and mount are fair game. Beyond that, you need a war declaration. There are several grey areas here but in general, if RP reason is on your side and you stay within your character's motivations we will rule in your favor.

**The defenders can avoid full base wipe if they concede to the attackers demands. If that includes moving out of the area, then they must do so. The demo gun in S+ should help with that process. The demands must be in character, and the concession must be in character.

***Allied tribes can attend the battles, but they are allowed no extra mounts and must fight on one of the 10 dinos from the attacking/defending tribe or on foot. They are allowed 1 shoulder mount.

IC: Stay in character at all times. Name yourself and your dinos according to your roleplay.
RACE: Design your character based off of your race. We have a body modifier so you can have green-skinned orcs and shorter dwarves and gnomes. Anyone abusing this mod will be removed from the server.
** If you create an extremely tiny character for pvp purposes, you will be removed from the server. Pixie characters are to be killed on site - in this world pixies/imps/faeries/fae are not considered nearkin and are basically mischievous glowing insects that need to be exterminated.
META: Do not use outside meta info. The tribe logs will be considered natural clues left behind, gossip from onlookers or witnesses, and in character things like that.
Consider everything that happens as in character. If you come across someone who does not want to roleplay, treat them as if they are a crazy breacher and act accordingly. If someone is speaking out of character, tell them in character that they are acting strangely or they don't seem like their normal self. If someone appears to be KOS'ing you, assume that they have a motive like assassination or too many bath salts and roleplay it out even if they aren't responding back.
This rule applies especially to war times. If you are under attack and think something is unfair, take screenshots for evidence, but stay in character and roleplay out the scene. We can fix things easily after the fact, but getting out of character ruins it for everyone.
